The Nike Jordan 3 shoes was designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1987. It was the first Air Jordan consist of  a visible air unit on the heel and the new Jumpman logo. These were said to be Michael Jordan's favorite shoes, as it was the first time Jordan express his own idea to design. Compared with the Air Jordan I and II,Jordan proposed Air Jordan III could reduce the upper height, not only ensured the stability but also enhance flexibility. He wore them during the 1988 Dunk Championship and many other historical events in his basketball career. The Air Jordan 3 also was known as one of the most famous shoes in the Air Jordan series. The Air Jordan III's had poor sales when first released in 1994. However ,when they were re-released they sold out instantly.
